There are two kinds of circus. The traditional with animals and clowns, and the unconventional.
In the capital at the moment, it's the latter which is raising eyebrows and the performers themselves.
Right next to Peter Jackson's playground is a different type of entertainment.
Fuse is New Zealand's only real circus.
“The industry is very young here in New Zealand so people don't necessarily understand contemporary circus and stuff like that,” says Fuse Circus manager Beauchampagne.
