CLIMATE CHANGE CLIMATE CHANGE CLIMATE CHANGE. NIWA have been pointing to global climate change and predicting drier weather for most parts of NZ, including the west coast for at least the past ten years. We need a Govt that climate change is a real problem and that carbon emissions are causing it. We need communities AND industries, including dirty old farming, to commit to cutting carbon emissions. We need our Govt to stop investing in mining filthy fuels like coal and oi. We need investment in green technologies, like combined solar energy and heat and power plants, organic produce, greener transport options. And if we don't get started, we can expect more and worse droughts.
