Stranded emperor penguin ‘Happy Feet’ might not have to undergo any operation, if the poor hungry bird was feed instead of been left alone to suffer and swallow any stuffs available to it....

How a human doctor can operate on a bird is odd - birds have radically different digestive systems to mammals. For starters, they have two stomachs, one of which is a muscular stomach found only in birds and some reptiles. I'm presuming Dr. Wyeth has carried out extensive research into avian physiology of some sort.
