Neighbours at war - the silent scrap over a tree

Neighbours from hell – the phrase usually is associated with angry, irascible, annoying, loud people-next-door.

But this story could be called a silent suburban scrap; no verbal abuse, name calling or anything like that.

This one comes down to the pruning of a Pohutukawa tree.

The Aitkens pruned the overhanging branches of their neighbour Moe Kuklinski's tree a few years back – now they need to move as their two bedroom house is too small for five people.

So their house is on the market, but it seems Mr Kuklinski hasn't forgiven them for pruning that tree, and their sales strategy isn't going exactly to plan.

But what is all the fuss about?

Lol - had a grin from ear to ear watching this 1 - dont know about anyone else but this is my conclusion of it all - Mr Kuklinski really does like his problem free neighbours - he too sticks pretty much to himself according to the Aitkens - it seems to me that they have a good neibouring understanding of each other - maybe instead of selling the Aitkens could build out or up ?? if they built up they could get to the very top branches to trim them too - i really dont think Mr Kuklinski would mind *:)
