President Barack Obama's campaign has released a new television commercial in Ohio drawing attention to Mitt Romney's opposition to the federal auto bailout.

Several auto workers appear in the ad, saying they owe their jobs to Obama's decision to extend billions in federal loans to General Motors and Chrysler in 2009.

Romney opposed the auto bailout, saying he would have preferred to take the companies through a managed bankruptcy process instead. The bailout was credited with saving thousands of jobs in Ohio, a top swing state.

One worker says "Ohio would have collapsed" had it not been for Obama's intervention. The ad concludes with a tag line: "Mitt Romney. Not one of us."
