This year's Guinness World Records have just been revealed and in the mix are piercings, jumping dogs and a Kiwi.
At the end of the day, The Guiness Book of Records is a book of freaks and New Zealander Skye Broberg is among them.
She is the planet’s most elastic woman.
She's in good company. Chanel Tapper is a student from Texas, but has the longest tongue in the world. Her friends call her ‘lizard’.
“I can touch my nose, which means really no big deal. I can't demonstrate, because I don't have it, but yoghurt, I can eat a yoghurt without a spoon, I can eat every single bit out of a yoghurt pot with just my tongue,” she says.
Some aren't born freaks, but yearn to be a freak, like Rolf Buchhof. He is the world’s most pierced man.
“I like the feeling of the piercings and I started with the nipple piercing then I made the piercing in the ear, and one more piercing and one more and at the end I have 453 piercings,” he says.
There were two notable records from Japan that were non-freak related, including 'most dogs skipping on the same rope’ and ‘fastest 1000 martial arts sword cuts’.
There's always someone new beating the record for longest finger nails. This year’s winner is Chris ‘The Dutchess’ Walton.
“It wasn't a decision to grow my nails. They just grew. And I never thought about it, but now that I'm in the Guinness World Records, yes, I'm glad I'm in it. I mean who wouldn't be,” she says.
Who really impresses is Rob Hull, the man with the world’s largest collection of Daleks – he owns 571 of them.
