I dare say that the government does not want to 'upset' the Thais in case the Thais stop sending their students to NZ to learn English. NZ should only give to health care to nationals of countries with a reciprocal system. I really hope this matter is not allowed to just pass under the door mat.

Maybe we should take a leaf out of the Thais book and start kicking their nationals out of our hospitals when they don't have cover. We are too soft.
