So Brian and Ricardo, what's your solution??
As of now, motorists will be able to find out about traffic hold ups on the country's motorways before they get stuck in them.How? 'As of now' I am none the wiser.
So, only now do the authorities think it might be a good idea to proactively monitor and alter light phasing etc. Tell me though, will they actually watch their motorway cameras and dispatch assistance to accidents etc BEFORE everything grinds to a halt and the public have to phone them. I do hope to God though that any proactivity is not in the stupid vein of onramp traffic lights and the soon to be introduced boards telling us all how long the motorway times are from point to point. We already know....morning and night, nothing moves. Let's hope this is not wasted money and that someone with a brain and COMMONSENSE makes it all run BETTER than it does now.
