Plse, clearly you do not understand. This has been investigated by the RSPCA and given the go ahead by the RSPCA.

Next, there is a huge difference between what you have posted in the youtube video's and what is taking place in christchurch.

Clearly none of teh people who have made comments actually know what happens at Rodeos and how badly animals are treated. It might be useful for everyone who is interested in this subject to look at some documentaries and videos that clearly show the cruelty and abuse. Please see:

If you want to ban rodeo because it is 'barbaric', then you will have to ban horse racing, dog racing, dog showing, hell you may as well just ban farming, then lets see how new zealands economy gets on?!

Thankfully I do not live anywhere near Auckland, and John Banks is just another good reason not to live there. He postured and puffed himself up like the powdered dandy he is for mayoral election on the basis he would clean out the nepotism and bureaucracy of Auckland Council. He is just a blatant oxygen-thief as nothing has changed there at all, and to deflect anyone from noticing he jumps onto some pointless lost cause to make himself look important. The guy is a full time onanist. Come Auckland get rid of him, and Christchurch tell him to eff off.
