Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is calling in a favour from his pal Jay-Z - the rap superstar is to feature on a remix of the band's track 'Lost!'
The singer and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow are good friends with Jay-Z, and the musical males have previously teamed up to work on the song 'Beach Chair', from the '99 Problems' star's 2006 album Kingdom Come.
Now Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, is to return the guest appearance for the British rockers.
In a statement on the group's official website, they say: "In the spirit of trying to do things a bit differently and keep everything fresh, we are going to do a few musical moves that we have not previously attempted.
"Firstly, in a few weeks we are going to release a version of 'Lost!' which has a guest appearance on it in the form of Jay-Z."
'Lost!' features on Coldplay's latest album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends.
