Actress dakota fanning will wear pink and red on Valentines Day

St Valentine's Day is this weekend, and stars are celebrating with plans ranging from tandem massages to a gig at loud gay club.

Not Grammy Award winning best new artist Adele though.  She says she's not into the February 14th holiday.

"If someone buys me flowers, I'm a bit like what have you done?" Adele admits. "Did I do something wrong? If someone buys me chocolate, I'm like no, I shouldn't really. And if someone takes me out to dinner, I never like the restaurant. I don't like staying in hotel rooms to be romantic. Because I'm always in a hotel room. That's where I watch a movie. So instead I watch a movie, eat some pasta or something."

But young actress Dakota Fanning throws herself into the day.

"I wear pink and red. Yeah, no, I love Valentine's Day. I think I love hearts, and I love pink and I love candy and flowers," She smiled.

Oscar-nominated Viola Davis, up for a supporting actress trophy for her performance in 'Doubt', will be getting romantic with her husband - again.

"Me and my husband we just usually eat a fabulous meal at a great restaurant," Viola said. "You know. The flowers. I have to tell you, with my husband - and I'm not trying to be melodramatic because he's there - every day is Valentine's Day. So it's just another day."

Single actress Teri Hatcher plans to focus on her daughter on Valentine's Day.

"I'm thinking of throwing a Single Awareness party, no I'm not really, for all of my friends," joked Hatcher. "No, I'm not doing that. I'm kidding. Let's see. What are my plans right now? Making Valentines for my daughter's school, and probably putting together little things for her. I don't have any plans."

And single Melissa Leo, up for the best actress Oscar for her role in "Frozen River," also plans to focus on family: "Well, I'll make a Valentine for my son, and I know I'll get one from my mom. And that, I know for sure."

Singer Duffy is playing a gay club in New York on the holiday, which falls on a Saturday night:

"I am playing Heaven, it's a gay club. G-A-Y, G-A-Y closed down in Soho, so I'm playing this concept with all these beautiful men. Unfortunately that are not really into me in a romantic sense. But here's hoping. I can look! They do really know how to look after themselves and dress really well. So I'm going to be in great company. I'm really excited."

Amanda Righetti, one of the young stars of the new 'Friday the 13th' movie, has more relaxing plans.

"I actually have rented a sort of massage express tent with a tandem massage and I'm planning on doing dinner," Righetti said.

'House' actor Omar Epps is keeping things simple this time around: "Roses, chocolates, dinner," he says.

His co-star Kal Penn is just happy to have his memory jogged so he doesn't miss the day altogether.

"On our show, we shoot all the holiday episodes like 2 and a half months before the actual holiday. So I always forget that a real holiday is coming up," Penn said. "So now that you reminded me, I'm going to have to think about it. Honestly, we shoot the Christmas episode over the summer. And then suddenly it's Christmas. So I have to think about that."
