Seven weeks ago Campbell Live brought you the story of Dave Pratt, the man without the six-pack who wanted one so badly he went under the knife to get it.

Mr Pratt wasn't fat - he goes to the gym and eats well, but nothing would burn the fat away to reveal abs of steel.

He put himself through up to eight hours of exercise every week. He looked good, but wasn't completely satisfied.

So he employed the help of Dr Mark Gray and his high-definition lipo-selection process. There were photos, drawings, and then it was off to surgery.

Mr Pratt's fat was liquefied with an ultrasonic probe and sucked out. Seven weeks on it was time for the big reveal.

Post-surgery, Mr Pratt had a week off work and spent time in a compression suit. Now things are back to normal. From the top down, the pecs, the rectus abdominis and the external obliques are all easily visible to the naked eye.

"I feel a lot more confident about getting my shirt off," says Mr Pratt. "I wasn't too confident about that beforehand, but yeah, definitely a lot more confident about my body."

In total, Dr Gray sucked out a litre of fat - less than 1kg. Mr Pratt's handful of fat has now been reduced to a just a pinch.

Getting a body this way does not come cheap, and it does not mean Mr Pratt will look like this forever.

But this gives him a jump start, if you like.

Mr Pratt is continuing to go to the gym, keeping it off, and looking forward to summer.
