Aliens are real says NASA astronaut

In all human history, only a dozen men have walked on the moon - one of them is Dr Edgar Mitchell.

He holds a doctorate in aeronautics and the record for the longest moon walk - nine hours out on the surface of the moon.

In short, he was one of NASA's star astronauts.
 
He believes that life does exist elsewhere in the universe, and that on at least one occasion, it has come to visit us here.

Namely, he is talking about the alien visitation in Roswell in 1947 - emphatically dismissed by NASA, the US military and the US government.

Campbell Live spoke to Dr Edgar Mitchell and asked him if we are really alone.

It is time for the country to move toward full disclosure. We the people, have the right to know the whole story.

I think that to answer the question first you'd have to decide a) Did God design the universe, or was it pure random chance?
b) Is the universe really infinite or finite.

If God created the universe, you would have to take into account what exactly it is that he wants to achieve. We filled the earth up in a few thousand years, perhaps he wants us to do the same across the universe.

If it is chance, then you can apply the old statistical formulas to it.

If the universe is infinite as well as undesigned, then it would be incredulous to believe that we are the only life.

If it is finite, then the possibility would exist that perhaps we are.

Until these questions are firmly and undeniably answered to each person, individuals would not be able to make an accurate judgement either way.

I would say it is the height of human arrogance to imagine that we are the only intelligent species, even in theory, and that, if true, it doesn't bode well for the universe!

I believe alien life exists, I just don't believe Dr. Mitchell has any evidence to support it.
