Animal lovers in Boston are flocking to the Franklin Zoo to see a six foot bundle of joy.
He is being called a miracle baby because his father, Beau, is the longest living giraffe in the world to be diagnosed with the incurable Giraffe Wasting Syndrome.
Beau was diagnosed with GWS in 2003 and was brought back from the brink of death.
But the fatal disease couldn't stop Beau from fathering not just this baby, but also two other giraffes.
The new healthy baby weighing in at 164 pounds and six feet four inches tall will join his two sisters Autumn and Sox named after the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.
The Franklin Park Zoo will be holding a naming contest for the new baby giraffe.
