Hollywood star Nicolas Cage unveiled a wax statue of himself at Paris' Musee Grevin on Sunday.

Cage, best known for his roles in films like Face-Off and Gone in 60 Seconds said he found it weird to look at the statue because of how much it resembled him.

"Musee Grevin provides that wonderful feeling of fear and delight because it looks identical. They are masters of what they do," he told reporters.

"Totally weird to be looking at that. Now he has boots on, so he's a little taller, he's got another inch because of the heel of the boot but I can't look at it too long because I'm afraid it's going to turn and say something," he added.

Since it first opened in the late 19th century, the Grevin museum has been drawing crowds, lured by the glamour of rubbing life-like elbows with actors, musicians, sports stars, and politicians.

Cage's wax twin now features among other celebrities like Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe and footballer Zinedine Zidane.
