Nicole Kidman has admitted that she is “boring".
The 44-year-old actress says she’s not considered fun anymore because she no longer drinks alcohol.
The Oscar winner’s husband Keith Urban has had a well-publicised battle with alcohol abuse and the couple have two young children; Sunday Rose, three, and 13-month-old Faith Margaret.
“I don’t drink alcohol,” Nicole confessed at the Golden Globes last night. “See how boring I am? I’ll have sparkling water tonight.”
Nicole would also want to keep a clear head for her work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador to help injustices against women around the world.
“I grew up in a family of mostly women and I was raised by a feminist mother, who educated me at an early age about the atrocities committed against women,” she explained to InStyle recently.
“[UN Women] focuses on eradicating that violence and it’s a perfect fit for me, because I strongly believe that by helping women, we’re helping families.”
