It has been a nervous wait for festival organisers in Queenstown this year with flights delayed due to the ash cloud and a distinct lack of snow.
But festivities kicked off over weekend and the crowds turned out.
So we wrapped Sacha McNeil up nice and warm and sent her down there to check it out first hand.
