After copping a 3 week suspension last week, Travis Burns faced the NRL judiciary's wrath for on another charge tonight, that's effectively ended his season with Penrith.
Burns has copped the biggest ban of the year for an “intentional head high tackle”, despite his attempt to have it down graded.
But a former team mate insists it wasn't deliberate.
But the judiciary disagree and have banned Burns for an additional nine weeks for the head high shot.
Meanwhile Manly's Anthony Watmough's challenge against a one week ban for a chicken wing tackle on Warriors full back Kevin Locke has been successful and he is free to play against the Cowboys this weekend.
