No Auckland trains will be running this weekend, with buses provided as replacement.
Auckland Transport says Kiwirail needs to carry out major work related to the upgrade and electrification of the Auckland rail network.
Bus replacements will be marked “rail bus” and depart from Commerce Street. Western line buses will depart from Britomart stop 7024, and buses for the Southern, Eastern and Onehunga lines will depart from stop 7026.
Auckland Transport says there may also be delays to trains when service resumes on Monday.
