One person is dead after a house fire in west Auckland on Friday evening.
Emergency services were called to the two-storey house in the suburb of Glendene just after 8pm, a northern fire communications spokesman told NZ Newswire.
One person died at the scene and another has been taken to hospital by ambulance with serious burns, the spokesman said.
No further details are available at this stage.
