Former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan has dismissed rumours the three original members of the group are planning to reunite.

The singer was booted out of the band in September following months of disagreements with her colleagues Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range, who replaced her with Eurovision star Jade Ewen.

Buchanan was the last of the original line-up to leave the band, following the departure of Siobhan Donaghy in 2001 and Mutya Buena in 2005.

After Buchanan's exit, rumours began swirling that the three original Sugababes were planning to get back together and form another band - but the singer has laughed off the claims, insisting she is concentrating on a solo career.

She says, "We're not forming another band, that is out of the question. But we are friends, of course."

Buchanan has also reached out to her former bandmates following news that Berrabah has been admitted to a clinic in Europe suffering from nervous exhaustion.

The star insists she is not angry with the remaining Sugababes and hopes the rift will mend in time.

She adds, "The girls are my friends. I'm certainly concerned about them and wish them only the best. There's no hard feelings, it's time to move on."
