In the tri-series across the ditch winless Sri Lanka lost Upul Tharanga to just the second ball of their game against India.

With Dinesh Chandimal top-scoring on 81 they recovered to 236 for nine.

Sachin Tendulkar is still looking for that elusive 100th hundred, out early in the chase for 15.

A few moments ago, India were 157 for four with 14 overs to go.

After a three nil drubbing in the test series England have beaten Pakistan by 130 runs in the first one dayer in Abu Dhabi.

Alastair Cook was the back-bone of England’s total of 260, the skipper scoring 137 from 142 balls.

Pakistan were never in the hunt as Stephen Finn ran through the top order reducing them to 40 for 4.

There was no let up from the rest of the England attack; Pakistan skittled for 130, England one nil up in the four match series.
