A new multiplayer map has been released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox 360.
The map, entitled ‘Overwatch’, is free to download from Xbox Live for all premium Call of Duty Elite members.
"Overwatch drops you into a construction site atop a New York City skyscraper," says Activision of the new map.
"The battle takes place along two levels in a near symmetrical layout, with the central bridge and side routes open to attack from multiple angles. Watch your every step, as a lack of safety barriers surrounding the perimeter leaves nothing between you and a 70 story fall to the ground below."
Activision has also called Overwatch a “frantic multi-floor-frag-fest” that is “the highest multiplayer map Call of Duty has ever seen”.
Overwatch is the third content drop to be delivered to premium Call of Duty Elite members. Each is released first on the Xbox 360 and later on the PlayStation 3 and PC.
For MW3 players who aren’t premium Elite members, Overwatch and the previous two downloadable maps will be bundled together and sold as DLC at a later date. Scroll down to see screenshots of Overwatch.
