Family violence and sexual abuse is not just OTARA, It is New Zealand wide. I have stories I would like share with Owen Glen. There would be other Philanthropists who would gladly contribute. I have been involved with legal work , welfare, medical and would seek to be employed in this wonderful pursuit. judith gaynor pike.

Thank you Mr Owen Glenn, I'm sure you have the ability to make a difference. Yours is the most sensible, practical suggestion made yet. Don't let the politicians get in the way. There was a young man talking to Danny Watson on radio, who lived, to quote, in no-man's land, trying to get away from his past life where all family members, school mates etc, were all on drugs; it took him a few years to become accepted and get a job because of social stigma, but he achieved it. I believe there are many more like him out there, so I wish you all the very best with your goals.

The philanthropist made the call as he promised $80 million for a new project to tackle the issue."

This gesture of kindness from Billionaire Owen Glenn is just beautiful and he should be praised for giving back something to the communities that he grew up in.

Thank you Mr Glenn, the world needs more people like you.

Mentors like Owen Glenn can make a huge difference people wise too. It's changing and the way people think and behave and getting to the grass roots helping make those changes - just learning basic life skills, building up self esteem, teaching the young ones and parents that violence is not the way to discipline your children and helping people to look at the bigger picture...
