Prime Minister John Key has teed it up with US President Barack Obama as the pair play golf in Hawaii.
Mr Key and his son Max joined Mr Obama and a personal aide on a course at a military base near the President's rented vacation home on Thursday, Associated Press reported.
Mr Obama is an avid golfer, with but he rarely expands his playing partners outside a small circle of close friends and advisers.
Among those who have received a rare invite to play with Mr Obama in the past are former President Bill Clinton and Republican House Speaker John Boehner.
Mr Key owns a $5.6 million holiday home on Maui.
