The Melbourne pair charged with murdering multi-millionaire Herman Rockefeller will make their second court appearance today.

Mario Schembri and Bernadette Denny are alleged to have killed the property mogul at their home on January 21 or 22.

Police are still uncovering bizarre details of the attack and are expected to allege the accused murders met Mr Rockefeller on a swinger website, before decapitating and burning his body.

Mr Rockefeller, a married father of two, is understood to have been living an elaborate double life.
