Large batches of cooking stock from the Pams and Signature Range brands are being recalled over fears of a possible bacterial contamination.

There have been no reported illnesses so far, but anyone feeling unwell is advised to see their doctor.

The products were available for purchase at Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown and have a best before date of between August 31, 2010 and August 31, 2011.

They include Pams roast gravy, and three flavours of stock from both Pams and Signature Range.

I was dissappointed with my purchase of pams fresh express ready to serve Japanese style sesame slaw. It stated that there was fresh green and red cabbage with carrot onion and corriander and a Japanese style sesame dressing enclosed
There was no dressing in the packet.
I will be wary of purchasing pams products in the future.

No Pip it is not safe and is included in the recall despite TV3 and Radio live being unable to provide accurate information. Pams products are only available from Foodstuffs banner stores (New World, Pak n Save and 4 Square)
