Spooky movie franchise Paranormal Activity is set to scare up box office dollars again in 2011 - a third film is planned for next Halloween.

The low-budget horror series will hit cinemas in the US on 21 October, according to EW.com.

This year's sequel has so far made a cool US$82 million at the US box office.

Star Micah Sloat looks set to be part of the new sequel - he recently told WENN, "If the script is good and they ask me, I'm onboard, especially if the same team comes back to produce. There's so many loose ends and threads hanging off the first two movies.

"We all wanna know what happens to the baby from the sequel... At the end of the sequel, that's what you're asking yourself and I wanna know myself. I'm kinda worried for the baby."
