As you may be aware, 3 News political reporter Patrick Gower has a way with words - but he may have met his match on election night.

On Saturday he was hot on the tail of National Party supporters and early on in the evening he caught up with a group of Young Nats.

One in particular showed he has a lot in common with Key as he stayed on message – and boy was that message ‘bloody exciting’.

@Michael - Yep, that pretty much how politics always works, but its good for it to swing both way, in the end, you get the best policies from both, as the other party will undo the bad ones from the last. hrm..hope that made sense. Oh well
