Repsol Honda Team's Dani Pedrosa was quicker than Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner in practice ahead of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
It was tight at the top with Yamaha Factory Racing's Lorenzo just a tenth slower than his rival’s time of 1.21'424
"Today we did a good job, I think. It was a good lap time, but the grip wasn't good and we struggled with the rear. So, I hope tomorrow the track is a little better and we get some better grip on the rear," Pedrosa said.
Qualifying for the race takes place tomorrow.
