Gated community? Who wants that? They forgot to mention the water supply which is aged and taken from Woodend. Where will the flood waters go? An air-marked extension to state highway 1. No fish in the lakes which mysteriously died. Not to mention near the most tapu site in the south island. There have been the digging of ancestors pass the buck to Ngai Tahu they won't mind. Developers don't care about respect and aroha for the land it doesn't equal dollars. Dead duck definitely.

Please stay true to your dream. New Zealand needs more people like Mr Robertson who have vision and are willing to put it on the line to realise that vision. You will never please everyone and you will always have knockers. I wish you every success.

How can a development company advise and do paperwork on immigration issues?
I thought immigration advisors had to be licenced/
If they used alawyer, who was he?

I found this to be a very disappointing and one-sided piece. As a family who had a great experience through the Assisted Immigration Programme I think it is biased and unfair to have only spoken to three unhappy families without balancing that with views from the many happy families who used their services.

This town is a great place to live and we feel that you should present a more balanced story. Pegasus and Infinity is not all bad....

This insert in your programme was incredibly biased - where are your interviews with those immigrants who are now happy residents of Pegasus? Everyone knows that Infinity is not the government and can only assist with the paperwork, not grant visas. Everyone knows that Infinity can only assist with job search and not give away jobs advertised by other companies. Everyone is well aware that Infinity is a property development company and that their ultimate goal is to sell property. There's nothing wrong with being in the property business and Infinity clearly went far beyond what other developers have done.

Mr Robertson was not telling the whole truth and he failed to mention as did anyone, that they were making the house building companies charge people on this "free programme" a surcharge of between $20k & $30k to build there - this was then to be passed back to the development company as an introduction fee?

Shame on all you knockers who have commented above without knowing WTF you're talking about. It takes huge balls and determination to get something like Pegasus going, and to negotiate the numerous obstacles - something I'm sure you lot know nothing about.

I'm sure Pegasus never guarranteed they would find them a job - and everything in life has risks. It's not suprising that there are some people disappointed, especially given the economic downturn. You lot need to grow up!
