Sir Peter Jackson is our greatest filmmaker.
He’s been awarded three Oscars, a Knighthood and a billion dollar legacy of blockbusters to his credit, and he’s put New Zealand on the movie-making map.
His latest film is West of Memphis, a documentary about the infamous West Memphis Three murder convictions in the US.
West of Memphis played at the Sundance Film Festival ahead of its screening at the New Zealand Film Festival and I interviewed Sir Peter and West Memphis Three member Damien Echols there.
