I have had a whirlwind week on cloud 9. My fabulous other half proposed to me and it has been a very fun and exciting time celebrating our engagement.
Through this special time we have to start thinking about our wedding and what we would like and it made me think about our pets on our special day.
I have found through chatting to friends that so many people have their cute furry companions involved on their big day so that they too can be a part of it, after all they are family.
I have read that some owners of horses have included them in their day by riding them down the aisle, your dog can even be a ring bearer or a flower dog which is cute.
I am really interested to hear what other people have done to include their fabulous and loyal companions on their wedding day and of course did it go to plan?
As we know when it comes to animals we have to be flexible and what we had in mind doesn’t always quite work out but maybe that is the fun of it all.
I have to bear in mind that not all our animals are suited to be there on the big day and many animals are best being looked after by someone for the day either at home or in a cattery or kennel and depending on the venue we choose, the household will be extra chaotic.
