The reporter repeatedly referred to Rob Hulls as the Australian Racing Minister. There is no such position - only the states have ministers for racing, not the federal government. Rob Hulls is the Victorian Racing Minister (among other roles). I don't think the Australian government had any involvement in the deal with Te Papa to get Phar Lap's skeleton to be displayed with his hide at the Museum of Victoria.
