Every day for more than 100 years teams of Plunket volunteers and nurses have worked together to provide valued services to New Zealand families.

The annual Eyebright Awards aim to recognise this work with the "working together" and "innovation" awards.

Plunket New Zealand's president Tristine Clark says the Plunket volunteers deserve the recognition.

“They’re trying to think outside the square to help communities,” she told Firstline this morning.
