Police are waiting to learn more about the suspicious death of a woman in Timaru before deciding whether to step up their inquiries.
The body of the 28-year-old was found lying on the driveway of a home on Quarry Rd on Sunday.
Police are treating the death as suspicious until the results of an autopsy are known, possibly later today.
Police have not yet named the woman.
