Police and land search and rescue staff failed to find him this morning

Raglan Police are searching for an 87-year-old man who's been missing since early yesterday.

A care nurse was the last person to see James Rees Whitney at his home. He had said he'd be going to town later in the day, but missed an appointment in the afternoon.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or spoke with Mr Whitney and fear for his health without access to his diabetes medicine.

Police and land search and rescue staff have failed to find him this morning.
