Police in northern Mexico say they have found the bodies of 14 men stuffed into a van near a gas station.
A spokeswoman for the San Luis Potosi state prosecutor's office says the bodies were found after an anonymous phone call tipped authorities off to the vehicle.
Spokeswoman Gabriela Gonzalez says the men appear to have been shot to death.
Gonzalez said Thursday the evidence suggests the killings were drug-related.
San Luis Potosi has been the scene of turf battles between the Zetas gang and allies of the Sinaloa drug cartel.
And in the northern state of Sinaloa, state prosecutors say gunmen wielding assault rifles shot to death seven men who had been drinking at a sports field.
