Auckland police are hunting a violent teenager who should not be approached by the public, police say.

Conan Livingstone, 19, failed to appear in court on charges of robbery using a firearm.

He had been remanded in custody, but was released on electronic bail to an address in Ranui, west Auckland.

He had earlier absconded while on electronic bail, police said.

Anyone who sees him should call police immediately.

He is described as a chubby Caucasian, 176cm tall, with tattoos on his neck, arms and upper body.

He has links to Torbay, Browns Bay and Albany.

I'm sorry, can I you say that again! He is wanted for robbery with violence, has already broken electronic bail conditions, and is again released on electronic bail, which he breaches. If he kills before being re-captured, whoever released him on bail should face manslaughter charges.
