Police have identified the man whose body was found in a west Auckland creek yesterday as that of missing Henderson man John Meldrum.
Mr Meldrum, 58, had last been seen at his home early on October 25.
His body was found yesterday floating in Oratia Creek, about 900m from his home in West Auckland.
Police spokesman Kev Loughlin said a post mortem examination completed today showed there were no suspicious circumstances and police were not seeking anyone else in relation to the discovery.
His death has been referred to the coroner.
