Well he brought it on himself. Crime in Wanganui steadily rose during his tenure as mayor and he did nothing about it. Too busy focusing on dead Maori kids from outside the region.

Alan, not sure what your racist comment is about, but the witness reports are saying its a Pakeha, wearing a green and black hoodie and maybe Hells Angels, but cant confirmed and not maori. Your assumption is incorrect as the reports are saying its a Pakeha. P.S.; When's the boxing match on with Ken Mair lol

I bet it was someone who doesn't like his show. The story doesn't say to much but I hope Michael had the chance to reciprocate in kind. Michael has put himself out there for any lunatic who wants to have a go. With his softly, softly approach to the maori underclass and jail numbers it was only a matter of time before someone caught up with him.
I know it's only an assumption that it was a maori, but I think it a fair stab in the dark.
I think John Ansell, the add-man would be a good side-kick for Michael on his show as the flipside to Willy and JT's lets kid the public that maori are hard done by show.
Hope you get better soon Michael and I hope you lift the game on your show a little bit more to get more reaction.
