Police have named a 46-year-old killed in his ute on Friday

Police have name a 46-year-old man killed when his ute rolled 60 metres down a steep bank in the central North Island.

David Aramoana, from Ohura, died in the crash on State Highway 43, 30km from Taumarunui, about 8am Friday, police say.

The ute he was driving had left the road in wet conditions.
