Police in Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland this evening have apprehended a man caught running through a drink-driving checkpoint.
The man fled from police at the Taikata Rd and Neil Ave intersection on his motorbike, eventually taking off on foot after a police pursuit.
Police K-9 units were called in before the man was seized.
