Police are still trying to decide whether they can charge Facebook stalker Natalia Burgess, who has admitted duping a number of young men into relationships using false identities online.

Burgess says she has turned her life around. But, her victims and their families say they don’t have that luxury.

Speaking to 60 Minutes last night, Burgess explained the personalities she created, the voices she put on and the tricks she used.

Her victims tell a sadder story of broken hearts and, in some cases, broken lives.

so this person has not been imprisoned yet? absolutely ridiculous, she is a predator and deserves to be where other predators end up, regardless of gender.

As the mother of one of the victims stated in the video at about 11 or 12 minutes in, "IF she had been a man doing this - HE would have been charged by now, so what's the difference?" Seriously? NZ is known for it's pro-feminist position (i.e. women are immune from taking responsibility for their own actions as they blame the nearest man) and the fact that police are still only at the "thinking stage" demonstrates this very, very clearly. It's about time women took equality to the next level - not just rights, but equal responsibility for their actions. Let's see how 'strong & independent' women really are when they take full responsibility for themselves.
