National continues to enjoy strong support, a poll shows.

The Roy Morgan poll of 871 people, taken between June 22 and July 5, put National on 54 percent support. That was up 2 percentage points on the previous poll, taken in the first two weeks of June.

The Greens and the Maori Party were both up half a point, to 8 percent and 3 percent respectively, while Labour was down 1.5 to 31.5 and ACT down 1.5 to 1.

The poll had a margin of error of 1.4 percent.
