Pomare's children hope to be the difference

Over the years the Lower Hutt suburb of Pomare has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Violence, gang intimidation, police raids on gang houses and as a result of the unrest, a major block of state houses was demolished.
Now with a little bit of help from some grown-ups the suburb's children, many who grew up in those bulldozed state homes are calling for change for a safer community.
And they're taking to initiative and doing it through a documentary.
