Portia De Rossi's TV comeback has taken a spooky turn - she's landed the role of Lily Munster in the remake of classic comedy series The Munsters.
The former Ally McBeal and Arrested Development star is heading back to the small screen with a lead role in The Smart One, and now she's also been hired for Mockingbird Lane, a reboot of the original 1960s sitcom.
She will portray the vampire bride of Herman Munster, to be played by Jerry O'Connell, while Eddie Izzard will take on the role of Grandpa Munster.
The upcoming series will tell the story of how the monstrous family ended up at their Mockingbird Lane home.
