Thanks a lot for this post. It's very informative. If you do not mind, I've a question; How do you deal with Spam in blog comments? I really hate it, It wastes my time and I hate dealing with it each day. Do you have any suggestions for what I can do to reduce the number of comment spam I get on my blog? Thanks for the suggestions.
It's just such a tragedy and so so sad for a little innocent child to be taken by the weather and our own civilisation.. You have to blame neglect of safety and maintenance to drainage equipment that allows our streets to be unsafe to our babies.
my heart goes out to the family of aisling,i hoped for a happy ending, only god knows why he took her to be with him,but praise god this family has held onto there faith,we often wonder why terrible things happen to us or those we love, but just know that god has taken home an angel, also i believe the police did all they could, and beyond,we just need to pray for gods perfect peace within this family at this time.jesus is with you all
I am so sorry to hear about little Aisling and my condolences go out to the Symes whanau. Aisling looked like such a beautiful baby girl. I, myself, have 2 small children and i cannot begin to even think of what this whanau is going through. Kia Kaha. R.I.P little Aisling. x0x

police did all they could to find aisling. they did not give up searching for her. "RED" YOU CANT BLAME POLICE. does that mean you blame the father too!!!! police and the father searched down that drain 3 times. she may not of been there when they looked. it is a storm water drain it may have taken a couple of days for aisling body to go in there. this is a devastating time for the parents and family.the police and search teams did an AMAZING job and they need to know that! they dont need to be criticised or blamed for this.
Aisling, you are a beautiful girl, i hope you're soaring in heaven with your grandparents and Jesus. Rest in Peace little one. Smile down on your parents and let them know you're safe and sound. Lots of love to the Symes family and Aisling. <3
