Power cut to parts of Bay of Plenty

A major power outage is affecting large parts of the Bay of Plenty on Friday afternoon.
A Powerco spokeswoman said the outage was caused by a fault on the national grid.
Tauranga and Mount Maunganui are both affected by the power cut.
