An Auckland primary school principal is in a quandary about one of his staff who's moonlighting as a prostitute.

The mother of two in her 30's, is new to teaching, and is using her second job to boost her income.

It was reported the school board is set to meet soon on what action it can take.

Prostitution has been legal in New Zealand since 2003, making it difficult for the school to take direct action.

whats wrong with the legislation Cyril? Do sex workers not deserve rights and protection? I've had friends who have at some stage or another being in the sex trade, they are normal people, and law abiding, just not prejudice like you are.

A double edged sword Cyril. On one side there is unwanted legislation and on the other busy bodies waving the moral flag.

No legislation that makes prostitution legal is fine with me provided there also is no legislation that makes it illegal.

Any profession that does not harm any individual and does not limit an individuals freedom is a legal one.

If this teacher is good at her teaching job then let her continue. Her other job has nothing to do with it.

What if she would moonlight as a card dealer at sky-city and you happen to be against gambling? Fire her too?

Oh dear the Goverment messing with the morals of the country is causing more problems. There is hardly any of there unwanted legislation that hasnt caused problems for for the majority of normal law abiding people.

Why should they, if her work performance is OK at school, who cares. A case of a pack of jealous busy-bodies
